What should i where to the school dance this friday and shoes?
Girl-

FANCY- it%26#039;s nice to be dressed up, but not over or under dressed. Go with a red sweater (that drops to your shoulders) and a holiday broach. then wear a black skirt above the knees with simple designs. for shoes, get black cute 2-inch heels.

CASUAL- skin-tight stretch materialed long sleeve shirt and a cut up to bits tee with neon paint all OVER it. for pants, wear holy low-cut jeans. for shoes, get DC%26#039;s, etnies, or a cool color of converses. for your hair, pick a fun style (maybe with a headband) earrings don%26#039;t really matter, wear a choker neclace, and lots of cheap braclets.
Reply:Since people rearly dress up for things, GIRLS____ just wear nice jeans, a dressy top, and heels. this look always works for the casual/formal event. And you can accent it with jewelry. You don%26#039;t want to loook like everyone else but you don%26#039;t want to stand out negativly either GUYS_______Nice jeans with a button down never fails. If you going for dressy wear dress shoes if not wear sneakers/shoes that match( you can never go wrong with white for most jeans and shirts.................Have fun and Later
Reply:cute jean srtaight skirt maybe just above the knee. try layers but not tooo heavy layers or you will sweat like a pig. if you know what i mean. umm best of luck. if you are a guy then wear a cute button down polo with some khaki%26#039;s . i dont think you weere a guy b cuz y would you be asking what to wear if ur gay or not. anyway. ...........
Reply:just go with a cute skirt and one of your favorite shirts to go with it.
Reply:i would help u if i new if u were a girl or guy

What are the best type of Tap (dancing) shoes?

Hi, I have recently started tap dancing classes, and was wondering what brand of (adult) shoes are considered the best, and also what brand is recommended by dancers out there? I dance in shows and musicals. Thanks!

What are the best type of Tap (dancing) shoes?
Hi!

Wow, no answers after 22 hours! I think I know why:

The best tap shoe is whatever is best FOR YOU. All the brands are different, and you just have to try a few. If you can borrow tap shoes, try borrowing different brands in the same size. My SODANCAS lasted for a really long time and still look and sound great (they just don%26#039;t fit anymore).

The different manufacturers make different sizes even when they SAY they%26#039;re the same. Some are wide and some are slender. A good dancer%26#039;s outlet store will have several different brands you can try on. If the person behind the counter is a tap dancer too, he or she can be really helpful.

Good luck, have fun, keep dancin%26#039;!
Reply:for me, its capezio. but it depends on your foot.
Reply:You really shouldn%26#039;t order tap shoes from the Internet, because they are all different, I would go somewhere and try them on. Every foot is different! Good Luck.
Reply:Whatever you like. I like Capezio...look in dance magazines and around in dance stores. Try on what you like and is comfortable.
Reply:Bloch, its what I use, and I have been dancing for almost 10 years. Reliable and comfortable!!! I hope I helped you!!!
Reply:the best are what ever you can afford

Ladies:You go to a dance, but the only shoes u can wear are high heels or bare feet, what do u choose?

I%26#039;d go barefoot no matter what kind of shoes I could chose from. I am always barefoot and it%26#039;s so much more comfortable! Glass is no danger, I danced barefoot the sunday before last and there was some glass on the dancefloor, it didn%26#039;t feel sharper than pebbles and I didn%26#039;t get even the slightest nick in my soles. When you%26#039;re habitually barefoot, feet get very tough!

High heels would never be an option; I wore shoes for almost 29 years before I started to go barefoot, but NEVER high heels. I wouldn%26#039;t do that to my feet, not even for a little while. Wore pumps with a bit of a heel to one dance and even took those off after a while %26#039;cause my feet hurt.

i dance with high heels... but i leave with bare feet.. haha

u can imagine why :)
Reply:Heels, for sure!! I love heels, especially dancing in them! (They%26#039;re especially fun compared to pointe shoes. lol.) Bare feet are fun, but at a dance, I%26#039;ll take heels.
Reply:barefeet, hate heels*
Reply:Bare feet. I almost never wear high heels, so I probably wouldn%26#039;t dance too well in them.
Reply:go in heels and once they start to hurt go bare foot

i suggest taking some wet wipes or something that you can throw out in order to clean off your feet before you run around barefoot
Reply:Bare feet!!!!!!!!
Reply:wear shoes to get to the dance then bare feet once you get there
Reply:naked toes ofcourse!
Reply:well i wear high heels and when i get tired of them i just take them off. lol its tht simple
Reply:depends on the dance. im into hip hop so id stick with bare feet.
Reply:bare foot.. I seem to trip over my shoes. :(
Reply:High heels. It%26#039;s not dancing unless you wear heels.
Reply:wear the heels and take them off
Reply:i would wear the high heels to the dance but coz i love dancing once the heels start 2 hurt id get them off n keep dancing just make sure noone steps on ur toes haha!!
Reply:When I go dancing, I love wearing high heels. After a couple of times you%26#039;ll have no problem dancing with them, plus they make you look totally feminine and sexy.
Reply:High heels. It adds grace to my dancing.
Reply:high heels
Reply:Going to the dance I would be in heels but when I am there they would soon be off and I would dance in bare feet, a lot more comfortable than heels and I just gotta make sure no one swipes them again. I would also leave the heels off and remain in bare feet for the night even on the walk home.
Reply:i guess bare feet are more comfortable in dancing as for me
Reply:Well, it depends what type of dance.

I%26#039;m good at dancing in high heels,

But i love ding contemporary and ballet,

And they are easier in bare feet.

So probably bare feet : )

Also in heels you can%26#039;t really point your toes,

But in bare feet you can really well.
Reply:Defiantly wear the high heels.
Reply:It depends on how comfortable my shoes are, and how tall my partner is. In any case, you can always go first in shoes, and then take them off later if you want to.

bare feet

Ballerina type slipper/shoe, they are flat. comfy and have your feet covered.
Reply:Hi-Heels
Reply:Unless you are really young, I don%26#039;t know how old you are...A lady never takes her shoes off at a public social event like a dance. Get used to dancing in heels, and keep them on. Don%26#039;t wear brand new shoes to a dance. Buy them a couple of weeks ahead and break them in. Make sure they have a strap accross the top because it is akward to dance in slides. I go to a lot of formal events, and my husband and I go out dancing a lot. It%26#039;s always easy to tell which girls aren%26#039;t used to elegant shoes and appearal because they are out dancing barefooted. Unless you are at a rock concert, it%26#039;s tacky.
Reply:Bare feet all the way baby!
Reply:high heels of course!
Reply:Heels!! It looks better!!%26lt;3
Reply:Start out wearing the heels. When my feet start to hurt take them suckers off!
Reply:I love high, but depends on the type of dance. If slow, then i am high, otherwise bare.
Reply:depends on how high high heels :O))
Reply:Bare feet, high heels are very painful to wear while dancing I find. It is much better to dance when you are comfortable and I am comfortable barefoot, I dance a lot better too.

When I used to wear high heels to a dance I always took them off within half an hour, so did many others.
Reply:high heel feels me sexy all the time...but actually I dont dance
Reply:depends on the venue! I would suffer the pain if it%26#039;s a bit of a hole with broken glass etc, if not im all for comfort!!
Reply:definitely bare feet... i like to show grooves and heels kind of limit me...
Reply:high heels but i know by the end of the night they will be off and il have bare feet
Reply:wear the heels and take them off
Reply:Barefoot for the dancing.

Peace.
Reply:heels. I don%26#039;t want to step on anything gross with bare feet.
Reply:I%26#039;d go barefoot no matter what kind of shoes I could chose from. I am always barefoot and it%26#039;s so much more comfortable! Reply:I would wear high heels to the dance but I would take them off soon enough and walk and dance in bare feet. It would be too uncomfortable to spend the whole night in heels. I have done this countless times and have also mostly walked home in bare feet as well afterwards.
Reply:Only high heels of course!
Reply:Definitely the high heels
Reply:Bare feet. I can%26#039;t do heels...I%26#039;m way too tall when I wear heels. I feel like a giant.
Reply:Well, it depends on the type of dance. If it is propper dancing then bare feet. Otherwise, if its just one of them dances where you dont really dance then heels. I suppose if I had to choose it would be bare feet, then just dance like crazy.
Reply:high heels of course

i would i choose not to wear high heels, i love them.

although it is hard to wear especially going to a dance, but its cool, your taller when you where heels.
Reply:i would wear high heels and then when the party really gets started take them off and fling them in the corner =)
Reply:i love wearing high heel%26#039;s dancing because it make%26#039;s me feel sexier i would wear them all the time at the dance then as soon as you leave go bare feet. Lol. x
Reply:wear the heels and take them off
Reply:Definitely the high heels :)
Reply:Four inch heels.
Reply:I would wear high heels to the dance but I would take them off soon enough and just continue in my bare feet, heels are not the most comfortable shoe designed. Chances are once I took them off I would leave them off as well. I have no problem going around in just bare feet, it is more comfortable and enjoyable if you ask me.

I like to go barefoot. (I hate having anything on my feet)

definitely bare foot. i hate high heels-there is no point to them and plus they put too much strain on your body.
Reply:yeah high heels...i%26#039;d be too scared in bare feet what with all the other women who would be wearing high heels and stomping on me while we dance
Reply:High heels. I wear them all the time and have always danced in heels.

nanny job

I would like to find the turquoise patterned dress worn by cameron diaz in 'in her shoes', at the tea dance.

The dress was pattered, turquoise, and a halter neck. She was wearing it at the tea dance near the end of the film. Watched it today and can%26#039;t find anything similar on the web.

Any ideas would be great : )
